Girls Basketball needs players

This years season could come to a crushing halt for some young female ballers if we do not get some more 3-6 grade girls to sign up. This being the introductory year for Triple A Afterschools Basketball program, it is not surprising that it is hard to get the word out about the program. The basketball program is something that has been long needed in Cushing which had not until now joined a league. This new opportunity promises to launch the city into more competitive basketball and preparing kids for school ball on par with the other communities in the league. To get the girls a team we need at least 2 more 3-4th grade girls to sign up and 4 more 5-6th grade girls. Some parents did not get the slips that went home with the kids two weeks ago so please share the information with anyone that may be interested.
